With so many weapons available, choosing a loadout in Battlefield 4 can feel overwhelming. These options are popular because they perform well across most situations.
Assault
The AEK-971 and ACE 23 are versatile assault rifles. Carry the defibrillator and medkit to keep your squad in the fight.
Engineer
Carbines and PDWs such as the ACW-R or MX4 work well. Pair them with the SMAW or SRAW and the repair tool to counter vehicles.
Support
The M249 or LSAT provide strong suppressive fire. Ammo boxes and C4 make Support extremely valuable for objective play.
Recon
Bolt-action rifles reward accuracy, but the DMR-capable Recon can also play closer to the front. Always deploy a spawn beacon and MAV or T-UGS to spot enemies.
General Tips
